Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Fort Worth, TX)

Redstone Ivory Health Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
