Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Tucson, AZ)

Greenridge Forge Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Tucson. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to licensing, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
