Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Tucson, AZ)

Nova Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track costs around tooling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
