Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Toledo, OH)

Highbridge Haven Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Toledo, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around complaint handling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
