Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Pine Staffing and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around timekeeping against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
