Senior Accountant - fixed assets (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Vista Community Partners Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around food distribution against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client intake, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
