Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Seattle, WA)

Westbrook Nest Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
