Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Timber Pharma Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to release testing, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
