Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Seattle, WA)

Clearpath Timber Medical is a Seattle company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to complaint handling, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
