Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Savannah, GA)

Ironwood Granite Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Savannah. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 651 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account servicing, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
