Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Savannah, GA)

Nova Keystone Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Savannah. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around collection routes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
