Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Salt Lake City, UT)

Greenridge Clear Civic Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around case files against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to procurement, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
