Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Clearpath Vista Community Partners is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
