Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Highbridge Basin Facilities looks after properties across the Tampa region, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 733 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around work orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleaning schedules, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
