Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Summit Markets and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to store inventory, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around promotions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
