Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Summit Glen Hospitality is a hospitality company in Boise with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to group events, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
