Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Sparrow Arts Center Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 524 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around ticketing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to school partnerships, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
