Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Summit Pine Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Orlando. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around machine downtime against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
