Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Foxglove Harbor Arts Center is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Track costs around visitor services against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to ticketing, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
