Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright West Inspection Services and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
