Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Harborlight Granite Pharma develops and makes medicines in Cleveland, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
