Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Highbridge Cross Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Orlando, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
