Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Stonegate Harbor Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around outage reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
