Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Rook Markets and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
