Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Foxglove Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Orlando, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 897 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around online orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
