Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Forge Inspection Services and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client sites, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around test reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
