Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Clearpath Sable Water Authority Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to treatment plant data, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
