Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Cedar Nest Financial Holdings provides savings, lending and payment services from Tucson, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to payment disputes, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with payment disputes.
