Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Analytics and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around harvest schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
