Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Vale Press is a printer and publisher in St. Louis serving local and national clients, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Track costs around bindery work against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
