Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Westbrook Pine Community Partners Group is a Cleveland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
