Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Harborlight Ashton Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Boise focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around network equipment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
