Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Nova Bridge Arts Center is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Track costs around exhibitions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to ticketing, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
