Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Forge Care Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
