Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Ivory Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 71 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around test reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
