Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Clearpath Ridge Medical is a Knoxville company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
