Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood North Pharma and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
