Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Summit Haven Staffing places workers with employers around Tucson. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to candidate screening, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
