Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Kestrel Manufacturing and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around tooling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
