Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Redstone Forge Care Services Associates supports families and individuals in Little Rock with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to licensing, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
