Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Foxglove Cobalt Pharma is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for cleanroom operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
