Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Nova Harbor Health provides primary and specialty care in Tucson. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to electronic records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
