Senior Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Rook Learning Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to learning materials, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around student accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
