Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Raleigh, NC)

Harborlight Willow Property Management looks after rental homes across the Raleigh area. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around unit turnovers against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with maintenance requests.
