Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Pittsburgh, PA)

Harborlight Maple Staffing is a Pittsburgh staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to temp assignments, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
