Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Phoenix, AZ)

Stonegate Glen Civic Services works with county and city offices around Phoenix, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to case files, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
