Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Phoenix, AZ)

Ironwood Linden Health runs clinics and patient services around Phoenix, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
