Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Rowan Hospitality Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with guest bookings. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
