Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Philadelphia, PA)

Summit Ivory Health is a healthcare provider in Philadelphia with clinics and support teams, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to electronic records, and clear open items. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with electronic records.
