Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Orlando, FL)

Greenridge Cross Legal Group is a Orlando practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 295 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to court deadlines, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
